Aubrey Cochran is a native of Phenix City, Alabama. He is married to the former Julie Gowen. Aubrey and Julie have four grown children and two grandsons.

Aubrey is a graduate of Central High School in Phenix City, AL.

His undergraduate degree is in education from Auburn University. He earned The Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1988.

Aubrey has served churches in Iowa, Alabama and Georgia. His ministry positions have included: youth pastor, associate pastor, and pastor of Easter Lake Baptist Church in Des Moines, Iowa for twelve years.

During his tenure in Iowa, Aubrey had the opportunity to work in a group home with juvenile delinquent males.

Aubrey has taught in public and private schools. His experience includes working with both middle school and high school students.

Aubrey has coached basketball, football and golf in school settings. He has twenty-two years of youth and adult officating experience. The sports include: football, basketball, fast and slow pitch softball and baseball.

Aubrey is an avid reader. He enjoys photography also.

Aubrey came to know Jesus during a revival meeting at his home church when he was ten years old. After having attended worship and bible study classes from his earliest days, Aubrey came to understand that the message of salvation in Jesus was for him. Aubrey was led to Jesus by his pastor.
