Brad grew up in Smiths, AL, where he graduated high school in 1997. After high school, Brad was employed by CB&T and TSYS. In 2001, Brad became the youth minister at Crawford Road Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL. Five years later, he accepted the call to vocational ministry and left TSYS to minister at Crawford Road full-time. In September, 2009, Brad resigned from Crawford Road to help plant a house church and to finish his bachelor’s degree. Brad is a Senior at Columbus State University where he is studying Communication and Linguistics.
Brad received Christ as his Savior and Lord at the age of eight while attending United Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL. Brad was then baptized, and he continues to strive toward living out the death and resurrection to new life that was pictured in those waters. Brad currently serves his church, Missio Dei Community, by teaching the Bible.
Brad hopes to attend Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, AL upon graduating from Columbus State University. He is interested in teaching the Bible within the church and/or academia. He is also interested in sharing the gospel through teaching English as a second language and translating the Bible into new languages. Brad is excited to teach Spanish, Church History, Earth Science, and Logic this year at Veritas Academy.
Brad is happily married to Katie, his wife of 11 years. He has two children, Gracie (10) and Noah (8). Gracie and Noah have attended Veritas Academy for four years. Recently, the Griffiths welcomed a new family member, Monica Carden (15).
